How to Pick Pants for a Rock Star Halloween Costume

"Hi! This is David Jackel on behalf of Expert Village and I'm here to talk to you about selecting pants for your rock star costume. Now, depending on the type of costume your choose, you're going to want to have different kinds of pants. For example, let's say you go as a glam rocker, then you're going to want to have pants like these. Flashy tights, stuff that's form fitting and kind of ridiculous. However, as you go a grudge rocker, which is pretty much the opposite, you're going to want to have ripped jeans. The great thing about ripped jeans is that you have them anyway probably lying around, and now you can get some use of them. In fact, the dirtier and more messed up they are, the better they would be for a grudge rock outfit. If you're going as Brit rocker like I am, you're going to want tight, but not too tight basic jeans like these. Blue jeans, these are good jeans. I like them anyway. I've had them for a while and when you wear them, you're going to want to roll up cuffs at the bottom and that's the way you want to do it. Make sure though whatever kind of pants you choose are pants that actually fit you, because if you're going to a party and you're having some fun and you're wearing your costume, you have a couple of drinks, you could make a wrong turn and if the pants don't fit quite right, they could fall off and that would really ruin the costume and the rest of your night. On the other extreme, don't get pants that are too tight because if you do you may find that they could split, and that would also be very embarrassing. Function is very important in a costume. Even though you want to make sure it looks really cool, make sure it fits so that you can actually act cool as well."
