Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Gary for Expert Village. Today we're going to see how to make some really interesting decorations on eggs. We're going to use dye to make an imprint on eggs using also some images of leaves and flowers. I'm going to also show you how to take a regular egg and drain it by making small holes and then using just the shell, applying some different decorative techniques. Here I'm going to show you how to glue some different leaves and flowers onto the egg, but it also could be done by using some very fancy artwork, painting, or using markers, watercolors. Then we're going to also see how to dye the egg. By placing some leaves and flowers on the egg before we dye it, it actually leaves a really very pretty imprint onto the egg. So it's a very interesting way of decorating eggs and putting them into a basket where it could really be used as a nice decoration for the home. Not to mention, this is a great project for kids. It should be done with a little bit of parent supervision because we are going to be using the oven to make the dye. But it's a great project, it's a lot of fun and again it's a project that could be done very easily with things that are found naturally around anyone's home."
