"So we're basically warming him up piece by piece. So what we're going to do now is, we're going to do some side stretches, which will help the obliques and the lats, and what we'll do is, Steve is going to stand with his feet about shoulder width apart, and you can just go ahead and bend over. There you go, and you really want to reach and once again, it's getting this whole area right here. Now what he's going to do is, he's going to hold this for about a good ten seconds, and then he can switch over, and you can do this as many times as you like. And you don't want to force the stretch. You don't want to crank your body or anything like that. This is just a nice easy stretch. It's just one of those things that once again, there's portions of the body that a lot of people don't necessarily warm up. They don't stretch and this is an important area. You'll see and hear where a lot of athletes will have a tear of some sort in the midsection, and a lot of that comes from not necessarily warming up. Now part of sports is injury, but the best way to prevent an injury is to stretch the body. "
