"O'kay we have gone through the hops, we have gone through all the little things and I kept saying if you don't have a jump rope, if you don't have any equipment, well this time we do have a jump rope. Steve is going to demonstrate just a little jump roping. This is not the ideal surface to jump rope with but he is managing to do pretty well and it is one of those things you don't have to whip it around, it is not what you see in Rocky or any of the boxing movies, those guys are pretty advanced with it. This is just a slow steady pace and this is one of those exercises that is good cardio, good for the calves, good for the heart, keeps everything going. Go ahead and break down Steve. I don't want to wear you out. Once again he can do that in minute increments and you can build up. If you are only capable of doing ten rotations at a time that is fine. You want to make sure that you set goals for yourself while you are jumping rope. Set yourself a goal of increasing by ten. Usually once you get the hang of it you can go back and revert to your childhood and once you get to skipping rope again it is a great form. You don't really need too much room again. You don't have to run anywhere. You just need to make sure that you have a pretty high ceiling and nobody is standing around you so you don't hit them. "
