"Okay a great exercise now to help build those quads, gluts, and everything else is just standing squats. Basically what he is going to do is shoulder width apart and just like he is squatting just like you would in a weight room and he is just going to come up and down. He is going to hit about 20 reps. You can put your hands out in front. There is a little bit more difficulty on the balance. Hands on hips. You really want to get deep. Now Steve has got a great range of motion and a lot of people won't be able to get that deep but really what you want to do is get close to a 90 degree angle and explode back up. Really stay balanced on your heels. You don't really want to push off on your toes. You want to make sure that you are allowing that the push comes through the core of your body rather than trying to leap off of your toes. That is more of a jumping exercise whereas with squats you want to make sure that you are concentrating on the gluts, the quads and the hamstrings, the major parts of this. This is the great cornerstone of lower body exercise. You can do it in the weight room. He has got great form. He is keeping his back straight and once again he is going to hit about 10 to 20 reps and I think we are somewhere around there so I know he is a little winded so just keep that in mind. A good squat, you can do that anywhere and you can do it on a chair as well and that will give you a lot of the beginners a range of motion that is going to be acclimated more to your speed. "
