"Hi, my name is Virgil Black and I'm here at Ramp Riders Skate Park on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to explain to you the basic motions of getting to an ice pick on a quarter pipe. You want to start it off with basically carving up a quarter pipe you want a nice a big carve coming in that way you can actually get a big grind going. What you are basically going to do is keep your body over the ramp, your body is over the ramp, your bike is actually sliding on the copping and you are basically going to keep the balance by pumping your knees, sliding across the ramp and coming back in. Shifting your weight off the end just like a febal grind except your tire is already up, coming back into the ramp. The things you want to be looking at is you want to make sure that this quarter pipe isn't actually that steep, definitely it's kind of mellow so it makes it a little harder to try this trick. What is actually weird about this trick is the bigger the quarter the easier it will be to get back in the grind. So you basically want to look at a decent quarter to basically find yourself a nice big grind. "
