"WALLY REULE: Hi. My name is Wally Reule. I'm a personal trainer, owner of SedonaFit, and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. This next exercise is just a reverse of the first one. This is called hip adduction. Where it comes is just as important, but I'm going to be doing exactly the opposite motion. I'm going to turn around and face the unit, my feet--the pad is between my feet, and all I'm going to do is pull it over for resistance. Another variation of this is then to come up into a crane so I'm engaging my hip flexors and then back down. So I'm creating this movement up, down, out, cross, up, down, out. Both of these movements are very important for lateral movement as well as for balance, up, down, out. And then, I would just switch to the other side."
