"I'm Wayne Villeneuve, a Fourth Degree Certified Instructor for Expert Village. Here is a formal sequence that you practice as a moving meditation, as well as for self-defense. The next short-form starts with a step to the left as you perform a right hammer strike. Shift your weight and step right as you perform a horizontal right hammer strike, followed by a left punch. Adjust your weight and kick left. Set that foot down and step back with the right. Once again, point your toes to the left as you step in that direction and you perform a right hammer strike. Shift your weight and step right as you perform a right horizontal hammer strike, followed by a left punch. Adjust your weight and kick left. Set that foot down and step back with the right. Here is the practical application of this sequence. It isn't necessary to practice with a partner for the benefits of performing meditative martial arts sequences, but you can see the tempo and body positioning of each of the techniques in this sequence."
