"Hi! I'm Windell Yancy with Basic Training Skills here with my partner Curtis Jackson for Expert Village. We are here to talk about speed, agility, power and quickness. Just a reminder any of the drills that we have done today, make sure you have a professional to help you. Don't try to do them on your own. Please do not try to do these at home without supervision. As you can see, so far we've done the ladder, mini hurdles right here and now we have the 12 inch mini hurdles. There is a difference because of inches. This is 6 inches and this is 12 inches so this requires more knee lift. Okay more power so you really have to get down in a repetitious stance in order to do these mini hurdles. The first drill we are going to do over the 12 inch hurdles is explosions. What we have here we have spread the hurdles out slightly to 26 inches and are again going to get a good athletic position using your arms and explode up, keeping your balance, shoulders over knees, spread your feet, spread your feet. Good job. Good A.J. Slow down. Up. Good job. "
