"Hi! I'm Windell Yancy here with Basic Training Skills here with my partner Curtis Jackson for Expert Village. We are here to talk to you about speed, agility, power and quickness. Just a reminder that any of the drills you see done today, make sure you have a professional to help you with any of these drills and don't try to do them on your own. Please do not try to do these at home without supervision. Okay what we are going to do is fundamentals. When you run, you've got to have correct fundamentals. That is the most important thing when it comes to running. Okay. Now running form, your arm should be L-shaped formation like the letter L. Now when you swing your arms, you should go pocket to pocket. Okay when you swing them, swing them to the pocket area. In athletics or sports, you should have the ready position meaning your knees should be bent. This is called the ready position. Your chest is over your knees and your knees are bent. In athletics you cannot stand tall. That is improper form so you have to your knees bent, your head up, eyes straight ahead to have that balance. If you stand up your balance won't be where it should be. "
