"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Tony Capraro, Sensei of Kyokushin Karate, Without Limits Inc, 1652 Richmond Avenue Staten Island New York. We are here today to present to you basic Kyokushin technique. We're now going to demonstrate the block for the signature low kick in Kyokushin bare-knuckle fighting. If you don't know how to do this, you're not going to really last too long in a contest, so it's very important. Right from fighting position, you must lift this leg out perpendicular to your body like so, you got to make sure that the foot doesn't go rising above the support leg's knee. So on the count of one. Two, three, and four. And this is what it looks like when it's applied. Person tries to throw a low kick at me, and I lift. Go. And lift, and lift, and lift. Now I try to apply the low kick on him, and he blocks. Now Rei."
