"When you're crossing over. Let's talk about the crossover dribble here. When you're doing the crossover dribble, we talked a little bit about the crossover dribble drill earlier, but the actual crossover dribble is very effective if you can use it to try and throw the defense off. And the way you do that is if you're coming down court, if I'm coming down court and I have a defensive man in front of me, I want to switch to the other hand and I can just crossover. And when you crossover, you can get tricky with it, we'll talk about that in the advanced techniques. You can get tricky with it, but for now, you just want to basically crossover dribble is just basically to switch sides of the court, switch sides of your body and to get the defense moving because you don't want the defense to be able to anticipate whatever you're doing. So when you're crossing over, you crossover dribble over here, you can cross back and it also allows you to see what's going on several different sides of the court and just to keep everybody motivated to know that they can possibly move to the right or the left side and look for you to pass it to them. So just something for you to look for whenever you're working on your dribbling. The crossover dribble. Something that is effective and nowadays, everybody is doing it. Everybody is doing the crossover dribble. I'll show you really later how to make it really effective and how to really throw somebody off, but a crossover dribble is something that is used by basketball players all over the world and its become a world renown move. So, there you have it, the crossover dribble."
