"TRAVIS WAACK: Okay, let's talk about the chest pass. The chest pass is just like the bounce pass; the only difference is that there's no bounce. Right? And we're going to use that mostly when we're running down the court on a fast break, maybe we've got a 3-on-2 opportunity, where we're passing the ball back and forth in between ourselves and our teammate, and there's not a defender in between us. Again, if you go to the bounce play--our bounce pass clip, you'll see that we recommend using that particular pass more often than anything else, especially if there's a defender in between you. But with the chest pass, what we want to do is dominant leg forward and we're going to aim at our teammate's chest with the pass, so they can catch it right here, so that they're ready. And we're going to follow through and we're going to push our thumbs down to give it a little bit of backspin. So we're pushing down just a little bit towards the ground and following through with that pass. So pushing down and through with our dominant foot forward and there will be a little bit of spin on the back of the ball, and we're flipping it. We're flicking that ball so that we're getting it there quick for out teammates. Okay? Snapping the ball, follow through your step and forward, and that's your basic chest pass."
