"To the bow cleat, this is the cleat on the bow of the boat. What I’m going to do is take this line and wrap it once around the bottom of the cleat. Then I’m going to crossover twice and on my last turn I’m just going to roll the line into what we call a hitch, so the line that’s running out is underneath the top line here. that’s a secure knot for tying a boat up. it’s called a cleat knot. Now let’s look at putting our sails away what we want to do to leave the boat in a nice neat condition so it’s ready to go sailing next time we want to go. "
