"UNIQUE ANDERSON: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Unique Anderson and I'm here at Energy Fitness in New York City, and we're talking about speed, agility and plyometric step training. Now, the next one we are going to do is called cariocas. What cariocas are is that you're focusing on moving your body in a transverse plane of motion, making sure that your hips come across twisting and your arms come across your body. That's your transverse plane of motion. So when you're doing a carioca, when you want to start to build the momentum, you're focusing on twisting the body, bring it back, back. Again, so now, what we're going to do is add those platforms into it with the cariocas. You're going to start with that scissors. Scissors here, you want to move your body around the platform, go to that slide, cariocas, cariocas back. We'll go back to the slide back and go right back to the platform. That's scissors with cariocas and slides."
