"VINCENT: Hi, I'm Vincent on behalf of Expert Village. And this is a tip that applies to both Chris and Brian. And this is the hands ready position. Once Brian or Chris have their head around, they're looking for the ball, defensive or offensive capacity and their hands are coming up, the rule of thumb is Brian--if the ball is coming from your mid-section up, your hands are pointed up such as this. That way, there's a reception there. It eliminates him having to jump to try and catch the ball in any other position. It's the freest most natural position he can catch it in. Now, Chris, if the ball is coming below that point, your hands are down. And this is probably where a lot of defenders may have interceptions where the ball has either been tipped, batted or it's just a bad throw. So, his hands are going to come down and catch the ball. Always secure it, pull it into the body and he's going to tuck as well because now, Brian has become the defender if he happens to come up within the interception. So, he doesn't want to turn the ball back over. So, Brian, hand up. Chris, hands down."
