"This is Travis on behalf of Expert Village. What we're going to talk about now is crossover dribble. Very simple. All you're going to do with the crossover is just like it sounds. You're going to be going from your right hand to your left hand. You can do the crossover when you're standing still and you've got the defender in front of you, or when you're on the move. Either left or right. Again, just going from your right hand to your left hand. That's the crossover dribble. What's effective about it is that you can start 100% in one direction, get your defense going that way, and then cross back stopping them, give you a chance to free enough space to get off a good shot. Just standing here, this is the basic cross. You're just going right to left crossing over. If we're moving to the right, you're going to cut back to your left. We're going right and then we cut back to our left. Basic crossover. "
