"Alright. Let's talk about another warm up drill, the ladder drill while dribbling. What's nice about this is it's going to do a couple of things. You're going to practice your dribbling and you're also going to work on your conditioning. With our players, we have them do 5 of these in warm ups. What a ladder drill is, for those of you who aren't aware, you start on the base line of one end of the court, run to the free throw line, stop, come back to the base line, stop, change direction, go to the half court line dribbling, stopping, turning around, coming back to the base line, stopping, going down to the other end of the court free throw line, stopping, coming all the way back to the base line, and then finally turning running all the way down the court, and then back again. That would constitute one down and back. We do 5 of those. They'll give you great dribbling practice and also in good condition. I'm going to show you. The other nice thing about it is when you change directions, you can do a couple of things when you changing direction. You can stop and just come back and switch hands, so you're working both of your hands effectively. You can do that with either the inside dribble or all the way around and switching with the cross over in the front and moving back, or you can go behind the back. Down here and you're down at the base line. You can even go between the legs and change direction switching hands behind the back. Left hand, right hand, right hand, right hand, between the legs, switching, keeping the same one."
