"Hi this is Travis on behalf of Expert Village. Now that we've loosened up with our legs and our muscles and the stretching and getting prepared for running around the court, I want to talk about actually warming up our hands and doing a couple of exercises with the ball before we start shooting. And sometimes if you're outside playing, if it's a fall day like it is today, it might be a little bit chilly, so what you can do is you can start clapping your hands, rubbing them together, get the blood flowing a little bit. Maybe do some arm circles so you're getting some blood flow to your hands. If you get the blood flow to your hands you're going to have a better feel, better touch for the ball, and that always helps. So get your hands loose, hands warm, you can shake them out, do whatever you need to do. And then, when you get the ball do some warm up exercises. You might want to even just stand here and go back and forth with the ball off of your fingertips. We don't want to palm the ball, we're keeping it on our fingertips, back and forth. And that's going to get our hands loose, give us a feel for the ball. And practice dribbling just in place. Left hand, right hand. And again, we're keeping the ball on our fingertips, we're not palming the ball. You want to keep the ball on your fingertips. And spread your fingers out. You don't want to be dribbling like this, with your hand like that, that's going to be pretty difficult. So spread your hand out, use your wrist to flip it down. Right and left. So we're just loosening up, getting a feel for it, so that our hands are feeling good and it's going to make our shots better and we're going to get a better feel for the ball."
