on 11/23/2008 Your videos need better organization. The first thing you should mention is that you don't train with a real knife, but with a rubber knife or stack that won't cause injuries accidently. Put yourself in the shoes of the viewer watching for the first time. You need to write a script and rehearse until you perfect your message. You also need a camera operator and editor who knows how to communicate effectively.

THIS AIN'T NO PARTY, THIS AIN'T NO DISCO, THIS AIN'T NO FOOLIN' AROUND!

"Tres Tew here; I'm an instructor at Yeshua's Ryu Martial Arts and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be showing you how to use your jacket or your hooded sweatshirt in a defense situation. Safety is of the utmost importance when you are training with a partner. Especially with the head wrenches, using the hoodie. When you are pulling back, you want to make sure that you're not actually just smacking down like you actually would. Or make sure that when you pull him down, that he's not falling down onto a knee. You want to do this very lightly to just simulate the movement, okay? Also, these techniques are to be used only when there's no other resort. Also, you want to make sure that this right here is a knife and not a gun, okay? If it's a gun, you're gone. We'll be going over gun self defense later on. But, what you want to do, just be very safe when you are training with your partner. And also, make sure that you have a pretty sturdy hoodie when you are doing this. You don't want to go out and buy a cheap hoodie for training and in this way, rip it. So just keep those things in mind. And also, when you are training with a knife, always use either rubber or a metal training knife. Don't ever use a live blade, unless you are in the hands of a professional. Those are just a few safety tips on how to train with a hoodie or a jacket. "
