"My name is Tres Tew; I am an instructor here at Yu Shasasru Martial Arts. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be showing you how to defend yourself with open hands against either rifles or shotguns. Now surprise can be a very key component when defending your home or your family against a gunman with a rifle. We're pretty much using the doorway for the element of surprise so when our gunman comes, we're hidden. Come on through gunman. Now what we're going to want to do is gain control of the gun from here and using the doorway, we're going to take the head and slam it into here and push the gun through around right here. Again, we're turning and slamming again, and from here, we're just going to take our leg and kick either to the back of the knee or to the back here. At this point, we're able to hold them at gunpoint until the police arrive. We'll go through that one more time. Hidden behind the doorway, we now they're coming down the hall or into the room. We're moving fast taking control and slamming their head into the wall and then again right here. Kick their back to create distance enough for you to get, to bring up the long gun and hold them at gunpoint. That's how to defend yourself against someone who is intruding into your house using, utilizing a doorway."
