"My name is Tres Tew; I am an instructor here at Yu Shasasru Martial Arts. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be showing you how to defend yourself with open hands against either rifles or shotguns. O.k., now I am going to be showing you how to defend yourself against a rifle to the face. Now when your opponent, when your attacker, has his weapon in your face this is a very intimidating situation because you're looking down the barrel of a gun, literally. Now don't be so much intimidated by this because there's not much that you have to move out of the way of the gun shot. You simply duck down and at the same time push up on the weapon. From here, you're just going to come, come across like this and grab the back of their neck and knee into the groin. From here we're just going to take and hook right here, push down. As you can see, the front side alignment right here, is a very good hooking tool and we can roll it over and hold them at gunpoint. There still in shock so we can still hold them, we can back up off of them so they don't try and sweep our legs. You know, switch over so that the rounds aren't ejecting into our arm. Come on up, we'll do that one more time for you, just re-hit the points. Go down, catch here, knee, push, hook, go there and then we're moving back and we're able to hold them. The threat is no longer the threat to us but it is to them, so at this point we're able to wait for the police to arrive. That's how to defend yourself when someone has a rifle to your head."
