"If you're going to take a backpack on your day hike there are a lot different things to consider, number one being how much gear do you need to take? Is weather going to be a consideration? How much food are going to be taking with you, how much water? It depends on how long you're going to be out there and how much gear you're going to need to take. There are several different sizes of backpacks that you can take. This particular pack is a very small pack made by Mountain Hardware. This particular pack is $65. This pack is made by Kelty. This pack has 2,650 cubic inches of storage space. It has water bottle pockets on either side, and on the inside of the back of this pack you actually have a sleeve where you can insert a water hydration bladder, which is kind of like a Camelback. Most of you are familiar with Camelback so you know what that's like. The tube comes out and comes over your shoulder and actually clips to your shoulder strap. And this particular pack, another Mountain Hardware pack, you can pull the stay out of the back of this pack and it will actually conceal itself and fold up into this small bag, which is inside the pack itself. So those are some options for you if you want to take a backpack on your day hike."
