" Hi, I’m Steve Jimenez with fitandfearless.com, Krav Maga, Austin, with Marissa Esquivel. We are going to do choke from the front with a push. Now from here, you are actually being pushed back, so the very first thing you need to do to defend this is actually base out. Put a foot back down, develop a base to stop the push. Okay, what I am doing is, I am actually applying a two-handed choke to Marissa, to her neck, forcing her back. As she is going back, she is basing out with one foot; there her arms are going straight up, pinning my hands to her neck. As she turns and rotates her body, notice how right here she is actually, with her opposite hand, trapping my hands, but with her other arm she is actually—to clear my hand—she is actually, right here she’s applying leverage to my wrist, opening up the choke; and pretty much right here she can actually breathe. And then with her left arm, she is dropping her elbow to clear my arms, and then from there she will trap my hands coming in with elbow, elbow, stronger elbows, more knees, combatives, and then disengaging.
