"Hello, this is Steven Vargas with Expert Village. In this clip we'll be going over how to perform a standing leg extension using a resistance band. What we're going to want to do is create a loop. You are going to stick one handle in through the other to create that loop. You'll step in to the loop and pull the band nice and snug. So you're looking to create some resistance on the band by pulling it nice and tight. Find something to balance yourself on. You're going to bring that leg up to ninety degrees and from this position you're going to extend the leg forward. Bring it back, and forward, looking for a nice controlled motion. Through the entire range of motion squeeze that muscle. This exercise targets the quadriceps muscles."
