"Hello, this is Steven Vargas with Expert Village. In this clip we'll be going over how to perform bicycle kicks using a resistance tube. Great exercise for the lower body, but definitely a great exercise for the core as well. This exercise is going to be performed on the ground and what we'll do here is we'll take the handles and the loops and put them over your shoes, over your feet if you're doing it barefooted or with socks. You're going to pull the band up and over the head, under the armpits. Now you can do it from this position, but to add resistance you can pull back on the tube. So from this position here you're going to lean back just a little, abs are going to have to be engaged, getting some good core work here and you're looking for a bicycle motion. You've got seven muscle groups in the lower body when you're performing this exercise. It's a great exercise to target the quadriceps as well as the ham strings."
