"O'kay in this clip we are going to be showing you a balance exercise called the heel toe rock. We have two different versions of it. The first version is a basic version for people who might not have as much mobility for others, seniors you know who you are. You are going to start with your feet together, body in an upright position. I usually put my hands on my thighs and what you are going to do is you are going to come forward on your toes and then you are going to rock back on your heels. You don't want to push it you just want to go as far back as you can comfortably to get that flexion in the foot. This is going to help your balance to help strengthen up the hamstrings and the calves and just allow a little more flexibility in through the foot. We are going to do one more and then we are going to go ahead and stand up and show you the other option. What you can do is you can use anything for balance. Right now I am going to use this but you could even come over here to anything that is level with the shoulders, put your hands in an overhand grip and come up on your toes and rock back on your heels. Remember you are going to want to firmly hold on to your counter space or whatever you are using for stability. Rock back on the heels, nice and slow and controlled movements. I usually do anywhere from 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 12 for my seniors."
