"O'kay we are going to be doing in this clip an exercise for the hip abductors. I am using here just a small inflated ball or you can even use like a small weighted ball that is just light in weight to use to push on for resistance. You are going to place on your inner thigh. You are sitting in your chair or your bench in an upright position with your back nice and straight. We are going to place it just below the knees so you don't put any pressure on the knees and you are going to squeeze in with your thighs and you are going to release. Now if you want you can always hold on to the ball in the center so you don't lose track of it or you can keep your ball firmly on your thighs. You are going to press in and then release. These are some muscles that are very seldom used so it is always good to exercise these to keep them strong to keep from having too many hip replacements because that sometimes happens as we get older. Squeeze in. Inhale on the way in and exhale on the release. You really want to focus on tensing these muscles, protecting the back and the abdominals by keeping your body in an upright position."
