Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Susan Hilferty. I am the owner and founder of Pole Fitness Studio, the original pole dancing school of Miami located here in Coconut Grove, Florida. It is the biggest craze in fitness, actually started in Australia, Canada and England and now has made its way to the United States as a competitive sport. I am here today to actually show you some of the exercises that would get you in phenomenal shape. What I am going to be showing you right now is called the Chair. That’s exactly what it is. This is how it looks. That is how it is supposed to look. Now this is the breakdown. You are going to be walking around the pole, and you are going to swing the outside leg around. When the outside leg comes around like you are sitting in a chair, this hand comes on the pole. When that happens you are going to exhale and push up. So let us try that. We are going to walk around the pole, swing that outside leg around and that’s it."
