"Okay, what we are going to talk about now is just the basic curved turn. Before you do a basic curved turn, you should be able to do a basic skidded turn and basic change up. In a curved turn, rather than using the flat of the board. We are going to be using the edge of the board. So what we want to do when we are initiating a curved turn is we want to use one of the board performance techniques I was talking about earlier. That's tilt. We are going to put this board on its edge. So, if was on my toes side right now, moving across the hill in this direction, I want a lot of of tilt on that on that board. Okay, and then I'm accentuating it right now. As I move across the hill, what I am going to do is I am going to drop my heels or lift my toes. When I do that I am going to initiate an edge change. When I make the difference in that edge change the board is now going to be on the other edge. I'm going to make that turn on that edge, okay. Again, I'm going through the transition of the initiation of the next phase. I'm going to make the change in edge angle. I'm going to make the change to the other edge. Now we'll go with this direction. One of the key components or one of the things you'll notice on the curved turn is there's not much buoyancy at all. You?re on an edge."
