Video Transcript

"Here we go at Snowbowl again. Great, beautiful day. Going to talk about the parts of the board. The board has a top deck. It has the bottom deck. It has a nose, which would be the front of the board. It has a tail. Tail being the rear of the board. On the board, we have two bindings. That's where your feet get strapped in. Along the edges of the board-that's what they're called: edges. And that has actually a side-cut on it. That's what actually makes your turn when you're on the board is the side-cut on that board. And then one very, very important piece of equipment is the safety leash. Every board should have one of these. That connects your boot to the board, so that, in the event that your foot comes out of the binding, the board will not take off down the mountain and injure somebody."
