"Hi! My name is Tiffany Parks and I am here on behalf of Expert Village and I am going to tell you a little bit about power lifting. Okay, first if you are going to start working out at home, you are going to need a bench and some dumbbells and a few loose weights to kind of get you started so that you don't have to stay in the weight room all the time. You can lift in the comfort of your home. First we are going to start off on bench. So getting started with doing your bench, you always need to make sure you have a spotter so that way in case you can't lift it all the way by yourself, it doesn't fall and you don't hurt yourself. I am going to have Anthony demonstrate the proper way to do a bench and then we are going to go through and kind of do some of the mistakes that beginners makes when doing bench. So first you are going to make sure you bend down correctly; don't hit your head. Try to keep your feet flat on the ground. If your feet aren't close enough or legs not long enough to touch the ground, then get a flat plate or wood or something to put underneath your feet so that your feet are flat. "
