"The next thing we want to talk about is trapping the ball, controlling the ball when it's in the air. The first part we're going to talk about is trapping the ball with your thigh. What you want to do is as the ball is coming in you want to have your thigh up so that when it hits your thigh you drop it so you can step and make a good pass. You want the ball to drop right in front of you so that you can step and make a good pass to someone. Let's watch a demonstration. Again using your right and left foot notice how Ryan's moving his feet. Nice trap, he brings his thigh up, drops right in front of him, makes a good pass. It's up, drop and a good pass. As you begin to get this and you become more advanced at it you can begin to valley the ball where the ball doesn't even hit the ground and you just trap it with your thigh and then play it right back to the person."
