"Hi this is Tim Gardener on ExpertVillage.com; we’re going to be going over some advanced techniques in football. The next thing is when you’re coming out of the hole, maybe out of traffic or whatever, is to realize where you’re at and where you are on the field and that is if you’re by the left side line, then you want to have the ball in your left hand closest to the sideline. So that if for some reason the ball did come out, maybe it’s wet or something like that, you want the ball to go out of bounds and not into the field of play, if you’re on the other sideline, you want to go here. in this position when you’re coming through the hole allows you to switch either way and remember that if you are going to do a switch during a play, maybe you’re here and you’re going to this sideline, if you’re going to do the switch don’t just hand it over like that, you’re making the ball vulnerable for a moment. You want to hand the ball over like that, so it’s never unprotected. You switch here, you go there – switch here, you go there. "
