"Nollie flip is a great variation to learn after you've mastered the nollie on flat ground. The nollie flip, the foot positioning and the trick is very similar to a straight nollie, only you're adding a flip into it. So, what you're going to want to do is, set up with your front foot on the board in a regular nollie position, but now you're going to want to adjust your back foot because it's going to be in charge of the flipping part. What you're going to want to do is point your toe just slightly towards the tail. And also, you're going to want to put more toe on the board; so less foot total. When you set up the nollie position, you're going to want to hit the nose, and with your back foot, your back foot's going to primarily going to do all the work. So what you're going to want to do is, flip the back foot off the end of the tail; and that's going to cause the board to flip, and then land back on the board. The trick is almost the mirror image of a fakie kickflip, if that helps you visualize it. So the nollie flip, is basically, hit the nose, and with your back foot, drag it down the end of the board, let the board flip, wait for it in the air, and then land back on it and roll away."
