In this free video series, a sponsored skateboarder will teach you how to perform a frontside 180 ollie skateboarding trick, as well as several variations. After learning what a frontside 180 ollie is and how it works, you'll learn how to place the feet for the trick and how to perform a frontside 180 ollie. Next, you'll learn how to do a switch frontside 180 ollie, an implied frontside 180 ollie in descent, and common mistakes to avoid when doing these skateboarding tricks. With these tips, you'll soon find yourself doing all kinds of skateboarding tricks in the park, off of rails, and on the way to the X Games!
"Some helpful tips in learning how to frontside 180 Ollie, are two things, is your foot placement is generally like an Ollie but one of the differences is, is that with a 180 as opposed to a straight Ollie you can utilize a little bit of the pivoting position. Once you've gotten in your Ollie position and you've swung your shoulders and learned how to get into the beginnings of a frontside 180, sometimes you can land and pivot using the front of your nose and your two front wheels. You'll want to eventually learn how to land your 180s cleanly and land fakie, but one of the ways that you can learn the motion and understand how to frontside 180 is by landing in the nose drive pivot position and sending yourself fakie."
