"So one of the other major changes that happens when you do a switch pop shove it down is that now you're going to have more air time so your feet are going to be on the board in the air longer and what this sometimes happens is it causes the board to flop around since, if you're not able to catch it cleanly. So what you're going to want to do is adjust your foot placement just a bit so that you can hold the board in the air longer for the distance it takes to get all the way to the ground. So that and the fact that you're going to be taking an impact now, it's a lot different than just flat ground because remember on flat ground you create your own height and then you come down from it so your knees and ankles are always ready for that amount of landing, but when you're jumping down something it changes and sometimes your legs can straighten and you want to make sure that you land compressed. Compress with your knees, your back and your ankles and be able to compress and roll away cleanly, and this is how you do a switch pop shove it down."
