"A major part of the sport of racquetball is mental toughness. There's a lot of players that are on the same level that have been playing for the same amount of time but somehow some advanced to the pro level and some just stayed in the amateurs and never, never got up there. I definitely attribute this to mental toughness. Look at any of the professionals, or the best in the world Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, all these players have something that the others don't and that's all up here. So believing in yourself, having the mental toughness to get through every match, playing hard, playing all out and most importantly visualization. If you are able to close your eyes and visualize the perfect match before you go in the perfect serves, the perfect shots your mental toughness and your mental game is an advantage over the other people who aren't paying attention to any of that. They just think that they can come in with the skills that they have, swing as hard as they can, try to kill as many balls. I'm telling you, mental toughness is a major advantage in this sport, or any for that matter."
