"Now I'm going to show you what a passing shot is. Again, not a very aggressive shot like a kill shot where you just scream the ball straight in and out as low as you can, this passing shot can put people on the defense and get your court positioning back because you definitely want to be in center court, and as you hit this passing shot, this will move your opponent out of the center. So the idea is to hit the ball and have it go to the front wall, hit somewhere in here, and go straight back, so it's like a pass. If they're standing in the center court and you hit a ball low right in here, they'll come up and they'll get that. But, if you hit just an average backhand cross court pass, you're going to get just the same effect as you would if you hit a perfect kill shot which is much lower percentage. A passing shot's very easy, you've just got to take a nice easy stroke, you don't even have to bend as low as you can, you can be standing kind of straight up or just bending average, hit a backhand, that's your pass shot. You can go cross court, you can go down the line, these pass shots are very, very effective in the sport of racquetball."
