on 11/23/2008 I have a question...you are right handed and you are standing on the right side of the court, since the ball is going to hit the wall (and most likely come perpendicular to the side wall) the opponent is most likely gonna want to drive it straight down, but you're on their way. Is that considered a hinder? I am left handed, I stand on the right side of the court, and it helps for me to turn to my left shoulder to see the opponent standing waiting to receive my serve, and if I am lucky my lob serve wont hit the side wall but hit the back wall and bounce back.
Good fundamentals explanation buddy! keep it up :)

"Another very effective serve in racquetball is the Z serve, where it spells the Z, it just goes front wall, side wall, and goes right back and hits a third wall. Again, you have to bounce the ball before it hits that third wall or it's a fault. The Z serve can be very effective because it might throw your opponent off as they're so used to getting straight in, straight out serves. Throw this at them, they might get a little confused and cause you another setup, and then that will give you another point, so it looks a little like this. That's a lob Z serve, or a soft one. You can also go very aggressive and mix in a drive serve with the Z, that looks something like this, a hard Z. Front wall, side wall, barely crosses the line, bounces, hits the side wall very close to the back wall, and as it hits that third wall it's going to shoot straight off and be right parallel with that back wall which makes it impossible to retrieve or return. So that's an effective Z serve."
