You just need to walk forward and the biggest mistake people make sometimes is getting too big of a snowshoe. We like to just walk on these comfortable snowshoes and sometimes you will feel it a little bit in your hips the next day. Because you are stance is so slightly, slightly a little bit further apart then maybe regular walking. You do have some resistance with the snow depending on how deep the snow is. But it is very easy to walk and again, it is a good time to practice this at a park or at a school yard.
