"SHERYL MCGLOCHLIN: Hi. This is Sheryl with ExpertVillage.com. And today, we're building a fire, a campfire out in my backyard, in the snow. And there's a few different things that will happen in the winter time that you might not be able to have in the summer time, for instance. But we want to put out our fire, and there's a couple of ways to doing that. The way we're going to do right now is we're going to take some of the same snow, and we're going to start to smother it, smother our fire with putting in snow, and this little dirt clod will not work. But Oscar has a shovel and he is going to start to put out the fire by just dumping a lot of snow. It will create a lot of smoke. But before you ever start a fire, you need to consider the time it takes to not only make a fire and to keep a fire going, but you cannot leave this fire until it is completely out, and for safety purposes, you do need to definitely make sure your fire is completely out before you walk away from this fire."
