"SHERYL MCGLOCHLIN: Hi, this is Sheryl with ExpertVillage.com. And today, we're talking about building a campfire in our backyard in the snow. And that's kind of a fun time to build fire in the snow but if you do not have the right supplies, this will not be a successful experience for you. And I want to show you some of the supplies that you do no need to have. First of all, you need to keep a pair--a pack of matches with you and this is a great little portable shovel that you should always keep with you and--if you're going to build a fire. Another important tool is this axe. You can't make kindling out of wood if you don't have an axe and kinda shave down some of this wood which brings me to another thing. You want to have a log or definitely plenty of wood. We're going to talk about how much wood you should have in order to keep a campfire going. Also, again, another source of kindling is newspaper. Just dry newspaper. You need a water container to be able to get the fire out in the end and then I just keep this pie tin with us so that we can fan the fire. And these are some of the main tools that we really need in order to keep a fire going."
