"SHERYL MCGLOCHLIN: Hi, this is Sheryl with ExpertVillage.com. And today, we're building a campfire out in my backyard in the snow and we love campfires. It's a great thing and we do it just for pleasure but there are different kinds of ways that you need to start a fire. Now, Mike is fanning it and keeping it going but to get started it in the first place, you can use matches. And here is our little thing of matches that we started our fire with or you can use a lighter or you can use a little bit of starter fluid to help with the match. Some people have made a big mistake though on using gasoline. You should never pour gasoline into a fire because the fire--the gas will actually come right up and you will catch on fire and it'll come right up from where you're pouring it and catch on fire. So, gasoline is a very dangerous thing along with all this smoke, when you're trying to start a fire."
