"SHERYL MCGLOCHLIN: Hi, my name is Sheryl with ExpertVillage.com, and today we're building a campfire out in the snow in my backyard, and we're going to teach you how to do that also. Right now, we have just demonstrated how to take your wood and make a teepee type of thing, but we want to show you another formation that you can build. Once you have your kindling in here--which I have shaved pieces of wood and also newspaper--we are going to build a different type of formation that is actually kind of like a little bit of a log cabin style, or is that kind of a tic-tac-toe, kind of a crisscross formation. And the reason why we want to to do this is the kindling needs to be able to have air pockets so that it will come up and burn through this before we even start a match. So you don't want to start a match just when there's kindling in there. You want to make sure you kind of get your log set up the way you would want them before you actually start the match, and if you are going to start another layer, it would look something like this."
