"Alright in women's lacrosse you are required to wear a mouth guard which you can get at any sports store. You buy it and you mold it with hot water and you will have that for the rest of the season. You are also are now required to wear eye protection in women's lacrosse. The goalie has always worn a face mask. It's a bird cage and you can buy it with a helmet and everything. That's different. But all of the players also have to wear eye protection. There are different types. There's a plastic screen which is nice because you have a lot of visibility unless you start sweating and then it fogs up. So I don't actually recommend this type of eye protection. But a cage is good. When you are purchasing eye protection you are going to want to try it on, make sure that it stays on your head when it's nice and tight and you're going to try to look and make sure that none of these bars are directly in your peripheral vision and make sure it doesn't feel too bulky cause you are going to be running with this on and you don't want it falling down or getting uncomfortable. So there are different types. This one I like because it's a little closer to the face and it doesn't have bars that go over the eye area but you are just going to have to try it on and see. See what works best for you."
