" Hi my name is Dan Schmidt from the Chinese Martial Arts Center and for expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to be showing you self defense against the rear choke. So if you are ever walking somewhere so one comes up behind you puts both hands on you either on your shoulders it doesn't matter chokes this is what you could do. Just take one hand grab across, place it firmly on there hand, what you want to do is raise your hand straight up in the air, as you step around, a big step, wrap your arm around theres. So this way it would locks both of there arms from here. You could just lift straight up what you want to do from here is your totally open to the ribcage. Okay you could punch to the rib but, if you have a real strong person it is best to knee straight the rib. You could knee, punch to the head, and keep twisting with the arms, you could put them straight to the ground. So once again they grab, take the hand grab across, place on there firmly, lift the other hand straight up, as you step around, wrap up the arms, lift up, you could knee, punch, and then twist. Now it is very important that when you step you don't keep your legs straight. Don't try to step tippy toed you want to kind of bend the knees be as natural as possible and just swing around. Keep the knees bent and when you twist them on the floor you want to put the weight to where you are going to be throwing them. So I'm throwing him in this case to the left so I'm going to put the weight on the left and twist and that is self defense against the rear choke."
