"Hi my name is Dan Schmidt from the Chinese Martial Arts Center and for expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to be showing you self defense against a double arm grab. So first I will demonstrate it and then we will break it down. So a lot of instances somebody will grab your arm. For instance if they are trying to pull you or if you have a bag, lots of time you would be holding a shopping bag they would pull you and as they do this they are not going to stand still. Usually they have a pulling action backwards. All you have to do is you come up a twist, kick, and the you could just punch. You see it is really simple so once again so he is pulling twist up, kick, and punch. As they grab it is good to try to lean your weight on the right leg. The leg that is furtherest from and what you have to do to lift the arm if they are really strong it doesn't matter so he is really pulling down and maybe I'm not that strong I can't just go like this. He could force me down. You have to use the hip. Rotate the hip as you swing your arm straight up. So my forearm is parallel to the floor. Okay from their there is a opening created he can't do anything because both of his hands are up here. So you could kick right to the ribs it is your best spot. Kick to the side of the ribcage, you could kick to the chest, so just like this so he is pulling just lean and twist, pick up the leg, kick and as he falls back you could just punch. Okay and that is self defense against the double arm wrist grab."
