" Hi my name is Dan Schmidt from the Chinese Martial Arts Center and for expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to be showing you self defense against the double wrist grab. So in this main instances is when someone would come up and approach you they can just grab your wrist straight out like this. The best thing to do is to lean back a little bit, sink the weight and try to spread your arms out. It doesn't have to be a lot just a little bit wider then there shoulder width that way you open up different targets. So as he grabs, just grab you just step back and open up. See also naturally he slightly leans forward which makes the target even closer for me. So what you want me to do in this situation you could either start with the knee or the groan. So what I like to do is kick straight to the shin. Naturally they would bend over and then just take the heel kick it straight in the solar flexes and then let go. Okay so once again so he grabs. Just change the weight, spread out the legs, kick straight to the groan, straight in to the solar flexes. Now for instance if you are someone who can't kick your leg to high you could also do this way. You could just step back, kick to the chin and then just simply kick to the groan. Like this once again step back, spread out the arms, kick to the chin, and kick straight to the groan and then they let go. That is self defense against the double wrist grab."
