"STEPHEN R. KOEPFER: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Stephen Koepfer of New York Combat Sambo in New York City, and today we're going to show you Sambo combinations. Okay, this next Sambo combination is going to again involve a knee strike into a throw. This is called a Georgian Hip Throw. You can start from here, but great for this throw is the over-the-back grip. Okay? Slowly, we're going to work a knee strike, knee strike. Again, now, I bring my knee up. I'm going to shift into the Georgian Hip Throw. It's Georgian because it's between his legs. This is typically how they do it in Georgia; Georgia in Europe, not Georgia in the United States. So, knee, knee, hip throw. Okay? Again, you notice: control the arm, sinking my weight. You can also sink your weight here then again you follow up with your submissions, your strikes, if it's combat Sambo, arm bars. Everything is available to you if you control your opponent on the ground."
